Job summary

Adelphi Locums is seeking a Locum Physician (MD/DO) in Obstetrics and Gynecology for Arlington, TX. The assignment supports in-hospital coverage with 24-hour shifts and in-house call, with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided by the agency.

Experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, is required, as well as Board Certification and Texas licensure or eligibility. Start ASAP with a defined period through Aug 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain.
• Recent delivery and surgical experience.
• MD or DO required; Robotics training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in the OB Emergency Department (OBED).
• Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients.
• Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide consults to the Emergency Department and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns.
