Job summary

AOIA in Northern Arizona is seeking a BE/BC OB/GYN to join a stable team of 4 OB/GYNs and 3 CNMs. Enjoy practicing in a mountain community with strong clinical support and excellent quality of life.

The position features laborist work with up to eight 24-hour shifts per month, a generalist role including GYN surgery, outpatient clinic, and OB hospitalist call, blocked procedure time, and a collaborative physician–midwife model. Telehealth MFM support is available for high-risk patients.

Qualifications

• BE/BC OB/GYN required or equivalent board certification.
• Laborist experience or interest in hospitalist OB work.
• Experience with GYN surgery, outpatient clinic, and OB hospitalist call is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Laborist position with up to eight 24-hour shifts per month.
• Generalist duties include GYN surgery, outpatient clinic, and OB hospitalist call.
• Two days of blocked procedure time per month with no scheduled surgeries while on call.
• Collaborative physician–midwife model; OBs take second call for the generalist role.
• Access MFM support for high-risk patients via telehealth consultation.
