Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Laborist to join our women's health team in Central New York. This role focuses on inpatient obstetrics and acute women's health care, with a dedicated laborist model and predictable scheduling.

You will provide continuous, hospital-based obstetric coverage, collaborating with midwives, APPs, nurses, anesthesiology, and other physicians, while enjoying a work model designed for work-life balance and physician sustainability.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and operative delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, hospital-based obstetric coverage.
• Focus on labor management, deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric emergencies.

• Support patients and colleagues with immediate access to an experienced OB/GYN.

Rome Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Laborist to join our growing women's health team and help expand a dedicated laborist model designed around high-quality obstetric care, physician support, and predictable scheduling.

This is an opportunity for an OB/GYN who wants to focus on what they do best-inpatient obstetrics and acute women's health care-without the traditional demands of a full-time office-based practice.

Compensation & Benefits

• $275,000–$350,000 base salary
