Job summary

Trinity Medical, WNY, is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Laborist Physician in Buffalo, NY. The physician will provide inpatient coverage on the Labor Deck at Buffalo Mercy Hospital and must be board certified/eligible in OB/GYN.

The role offers seven 24-hour shifts per month, with an annual salary range of $285,000–$325,000, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 403(b), CME allowance, and occurrence-based malpractice insurance. Immigration sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State with an active DEA certificate.
• Board-certified in OB/GYN.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine obstetrical care for all patients, including high-risk cases.
• Deliver in-house obstetrical services, including emergency cesarean sections and VBAC coverage.
• Provide backup support to obstetrical providers when requested.
• Assist other attending physicians in surgery and emergency GYN procedures.

Trinity Medical, WNY, is seeking a full time OB/GYN Laborist Physician in Buffalo, NY, a diverse and family friendly community on the shores of Lake Erie. This Physician shall be Board Certified/Eligible and will provide inpatient coverage on the Labor Deck at Buffalo Mercy Hospital. Trinity Medical, WNY, is the multispecialty physician group of Catholic Health System and has outpatient offices located throughout the Buffalo-Niagara Region. Supported by a strong staff and ancillary services within a 4 hospital integrated healthcare system, Trinity Medical has a strong multi-specialty presence in the Western New York region.

KEY JOB FEATURES

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor shall have graduated from an Accredited School of Medicine with either a Medical Director (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
• Doctor shall be licensed to practice Medicine in New York State with an active DEA certificate
• Doctor shall be board certified in OB/GYN.
• Doctor shall be Electronic Fetal Monitor (EFM) Certified

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Routine care for all obstetrical patients, including high-risk obstetrical patients.
• Provide in-house obstetrical services, including but not limited to emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal or operative vaginal births, and rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients.
• Provide backup support to obstetrical providers when requested, including VBAC coverage.
• Assist other attending physicians in surgery when requested and performing emergency GYN procedures that present through Emergency Department
