Qualifications

• ACGME-accredited U.S. residency required.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN required.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Virginia license and DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage conditions of the female reproductive system.
• Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Perform routine preventive care (Pap smears, pelvic and breast exams).
• Prescribe and manage treatments for infections and hormonal disorders.
• Perform surgical procedures (C-sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries).
• Educate on contraception and family planning.
• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other specialists for coordinated care.
