Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group is seeking OB/GYN hospitalists to join the team at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL. The role focuses on delivering high-quality obstetric care with a shift-based schedule and no on-call duties, enabling strong work-life balance.

Work alongside local obstetricians to provide expert care for pregnant patients, participate in quality improvement, and support ED and hospital staff across a well-regarded 687-bed center.

The Opportunity:

Morton Plant Hospital is a 687-bed medical center that has provided acute care and surgical services to the northern Pinellas County communities for 100 years. It is home to the largest obstetrical program in North Pinellas County, a level II NICU and has one of the lowest rates of Cesarean section births in the area. It is a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital.

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.
