Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an OB-GYN hospitalist to join LVH–Hazleton. The role collaborates with midwives, general OB-GYN physicians, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists to support LVHN’s maternity services across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified.
• A current Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required.
• Ideally 3-5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team spread across 30 service sites for obstetrics and gynecology across 11 counties serving women’s preventive gynecologic and obstetrics needs.
• Have access to five Family Birth and Newborn Centers throughout the region providing maternity care.
• Choose the setting in which you practice by working in intimate and familiar patient settings or busy bustling practices; some locations include gynecologic surgical care for women using traditional and advanced minimally invasive techniques.
• Have opportunity to participate in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and health care administration if interested.
