Job summary

Erie Family Health Centers is seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. The physician will work within hospital settings, participate in labor and delivery, and serve as a consultant to other providers at Erie.

The position requires Illinois medical licensure, board certification/eligibility in OB-GYN, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in medical Spanish preferred.
• Illinois medical license required.
• Board certification/eligibility in OB-GYN with MD or DO credential.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage and obstetric care from antepartum to immediate postpartum.
• Maintain hospital privileges as required for the role.
• Perform history and physical exams and manage acute/chronic conditions.
• Deliver or assist in labor and delivery as part of a delivery team.
• Provide telehealth triage and collaborate with primary care providers.
