Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide in-house obstetrical coverage for the labor and delivery unit, antepartum and postpartum units, and triage areas across our premier Mother Baby Centers. You will perform emergency cesarean sections and vaginal births, supervise postpartum care, and support obstetric anesthesia and NICU teams.

Collaboration with a diverse, multidisciplinary staff ensures safe, compassionate care for mothers, babies and families.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/MD or DO degree from an approved medical program.
• Active, non-restricted MN medical license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house obstetrical coverage of the labor and delivery unit, antepartum and postpartum units, and triage area.
• Assist with emergency cesarean sections, vaginal births and postpartum care.
• Provide backup support and surgical assistance to staff obstetricians as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage obstetric cases and ensure safety.
