Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist to support locum tenens needs in Michigan. The role features a 24-hour in-house call schedule (7a-7a) with 3 PAs and on-L&D midwives providing coverage, and a focus on obstetric and gynecologic procedures.

Requirements include a Michigan license (or IMLC), BLS, PALS, ACLS, and a 30-day credentialing window. Epic EMR experience is expected, and AMN provides comprehensive malpractice insurance and travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Michigan license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Credentialing timeframe about 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care as a hospitalist during 24-hour in-house calls (7a-7a).
• Support: 3 PAs, midwives on L&D floor each night for coverage; call only as needed.
• Handle cases such as C-sections and tubal ligations; read non-stress tests.
