Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our established program in the Phoenix area. This role focuses on in-house obstetric care with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

The position offers a 6, 24-hour shift minimum per month, with two physicians on duty at all times, and opportunities to work with a Level III NICU. Candidates should be board certified and eligible for AZ licensure.

Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN.
• Previous OB Hospitalist Experience Preferred.
• Ability to obtain AZ medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 in-house obstetric care at Honor Health Shea Scottsdale.
• Manage OB ED, unassigned patients, and community OB support.
• Assist with cesarean deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, neonatology and multidisciplinary teams for safe, high-quality care.

Clinical Acuity & Practice Environment

• Established 8-physician team with excellent camaraderie and mentorship from experienced OB Hospitalists
• 6,000 annual deliveries at a busy, well-established program, with Level III NICU support
• Manage OB ED, unassigned patients, and community OB support
• Assist with cesarean deliveries as needed
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, timely high-quality care
