Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN hospitalist to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care as part of a collaborative team.
You will work with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care, mentor students and residents, and contribute to clinical pathways and hospital initiatives.

Beebe Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN hospitalist to join our team at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware. You'll provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional women's health.
You'll join a collegial team of experienced OB/GYN hospitalists, OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers working together to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. You'll also collaborate closely with skilled labor and delivery nurses, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists, giving you the support and resources to focus on delivering excellent care.
For physicians who enjoy teaching, there are also opportunities to mentor medical students and residents and help prepare the next generation of physicians.
Beebe Healthcare's Women's & Children's Services provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including high-risk pregnancy management, backed by the resources of a respected community health system. You'll play an important role in providing timely, high-quality care for patients who need it most.
Providing in-house coverage for unassigned and emergent obstetric patients, from initial evaluation through inpatient management
Responding to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, including emergency department consultations and hospital-based care
Performing surgical interventions for unassigned gynecologic emergencies and assisting attending OB/GYNs as needed
Collaborating with private OB/GYNs to coordinate inpatient care for shared patients
Supporting discharge planning and appropriate outpatient follow-up
Contributing to clinical pathways and order sets that advance quality within the obstetrical emergency department
Participating in quality improvement, staff education and hospital initiatives
Board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology
Eligible for Delaware medical licensure
A strong commitment to inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
