Job summary

StaffMed Health Partners is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist to provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in Gainesville, Florida. The role offers flexible, predictable scheduling within a collaborative hospitalist group to promote work-life balance.

Qualified candidates are board certified or eligible in OB/GYN, with inpatient OB hospitalist experience preferred. 24-hour shifts, about eight per month, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Title: Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist (Inpatient-Only)

Required Skills

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Inpatient-only OB Hospitalist experience preferred
• Ability to provide emergency obstetric care and unassigned OBED and gynecologic coverage
• Strong communication, teamwork, and operational support skills
• First assist support experience is advantageous

Education and Experience

• Medical degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Prior hospitalist or inpatient OB experience preferred

Other Requirements

• 24-hour shifts, approximately eight shifts per month
• License and certification as required by state regulations
• Ability to work flexible schedules and support emergency obstetric care
