Job summary

NOW Healthcare Recruitment is seeking OB/GYN Hospitalists for open positions in Chicago or Waukegan, IL. The team provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting and supports labor and delivery services with surgical consultations as needed.

Board-certified or board-eligible candidates with an MD or DO degree are encouraged to apply; hospital experience in community health settings is valued.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.
• MD or DO degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to hospital inpatients and outpatients.
• Participate in labor and delivery and gynecologic consultations and surgeries.

• OBGYN Hospitalist provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic health care service to patients including prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Hospital practice includes labor and delivery as well as gynecologic consultation and surgery relevant to general obstetrics and gynecology

Background profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, MD or DO.
• At least 2 years of experience in community health or with a similar patient population while in training is preferred
