Job summary

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) seeks a full-time OB/Gyn Hospitalist for metro Atlanta, based at Emory Decatur Hospital. You will cover labor and delivery with the on-call midwife, perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections when indicated, and manage urgent gynecology cases within your scope.

• Perform consults for Kaiser Permanente members as indicated by other providers.

Job Brief: OB/Gyn Hospitalist

Summary:

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s (GA) largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente (KP) members. Our focus is on long-term health, effective prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease. Care is delivered across 40+ specialties at 26 medical offices featuring state-of-the-art equipment, labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also provide surgical services and around-the-clock care at some of the area’s top hospitals. We invite applications for a full-time OB/Gyn Hospitalist position located in metro Atlanta. This position will be based at Emory Decatur Hospital.

What You Can Expect:

• Cover labor and delivery with the on-call midwife
• Perform normal vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal deliveries and C-sections if indicated
• See urgent/emergent gynecology patients. Surgically manage if within scope of experience
• Perform consults for Kaiser Permanente members as indicated by our non-Ob/Gyn partners

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible
• Licensed in the state of Georgia
