Job summary

Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to join our Specialty Physician Group and serve as core faculty for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.

The role balances clinical care with resident supervision and academic responsibilities, based primarily at Willowbrook. You will mentor residents, participate in the continuity clinic, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Previous experience working with residents or medical students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to patients at Houston Methodist Willowbrook.
• Supervise and mentor OB/GYN residents in the clinical setting.
• Participate in the residency continuity clinic and provide guidance to residents.
• Support resident education through clinical teaching, rounds, and case discussions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other program activities.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in shared OB/GYN call coverage with other Houston Methodist residency faculty and a local private practice OB/GYN.
• Call responsibilities include a minimum of one 14-hour weekday call and one 24-hour weekend call per month, shared among the participating physicians.
