The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Florence Initiative seeks a Clinical OB/GYN Clerkship Site Director to oversee day-to-day clinical activities and student assessments during the third-year clerkships in Florence, with coordination with the Florence office.

The role includes teaching, advising, and hands-on medical training, reporting to the Assistant Dean for Medical Student Education, Florence, and the Clerkship Director in Columbia.

Formación

• MD or DO eligible for a faculty appointment in the School of Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Strong interest in medical education.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches medical coursework to students, including patient care, practices, procedures, exams, and related objectives.
• Supervises students and faculty in the clerkship, assessing clinical competencies and examinations.
• Implements curriculum decisions and ensures accreditation standards are met; attends Florence-Columbia clerkship site director meetings.
• Performs other duties as required.
