Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced OB/GYN to provide locum coverage at a medical center in eastern North Carolina. The assignment includes 24-hour call shifts, with volume expectations around deliveries and GYN procedures.

Support staff includes nurses, OB/GYN director, anesthesia, radiology, and hospitalists, with Meditech 6.1 as the EMR. Travel and lodging are arranged by the dedicated travel team, and comprehensive malpractice coverage is provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN required.
• Willing to cover 24-hour call shifts.
• Experience with deliveries and GYN procedures (C-section, vaginal deliveries) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage for OB/GYN in eastern North Carolina.
• Perform GYN procedures, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital teams including anesthesia, radiology, and hospitalists.
