Ashton North LLC is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB-GYN for a full-time role in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a high-earning practice with production upside and a notably light call schedule, supported by an OB-Hospitalist program and an experienced APP team.

You will provide obstetric and gynecologic care, collaborate across a multidisciplinary team, and maintain precise medical records in a modern facility. Board eligibility and Illinois licensure are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
• BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology or BC/BE eligible.
• Active Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in a Mattoon-based practice.
• Utilize Level 1 nursery for low-to-moderate risk cases and coordinate transfers for high-risk cases.
• Maintain a light call schedule of approximately 2–4 days per month with OB‑Hospitalist support.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and on-site midwife within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to facility guidelines and ensure thorough EMR documentation.

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Traditional OB-GYN. This exceptional opportunity allows you to build a robust, high-earning practice with immense production upside, while enjoying an incredibly light call schedule. You will join an expansive women's health team backed by an established OB‑Hospitalist program, a dedicated midwife, and experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to a diverse patient population within an exclusively local Mattoon practice setting.
• Utilize the hospital's modern Level 1 nursery facility, focusing on low-to-moderate risk presentations while efficiently stabilizing and transferring out complex, high-risk maternal-fetal cases to tertiary care partners.
• Manage a highly desirable, light call rotation of approximately 2 to 4 days per month, working in close coordination with a 3-physician OB‑Hospitalist team that handles the vast majority of primary facility call coverage.
• Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary women's health framework that includes fellow physicians, dedicated APPs, and an on-site midwife.
• Practice in alignment with facility medical guidelines, which utilize higher-level regional networks for specialized, medically necessary complex care and elective transfer procedures.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all outpatient clinic visits, surgical cases, and deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
• Valid DEA registration
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset optimized to collaborate with both hospitalists and mid-level providers
