Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (required), preferably in Women's Health; MA Certification required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Business or Healthcare Administration with 1+ year in Women's Health preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains OB database: records all new OB patients and monitors changes, distributes lists/reports as requested.
  • Maintains PPD program.
  • Pre-certs all OB patients.
  • Liaison between practice and Labor and Delivery at the hospital.
  • Audits OB charts and maintains results flow (blood work, ultrasound, correspondence, etc.).
  • Follows up on changes from physicians' OB chart reviews and communicates results to physicians.
  • Assists Providers and Practice as needed.
  • Schedules all associated OB testing and appointments and provides patients with instructions.
  • Scheduling appointments regionally across Penn Medicine OB locations.
  • Provides OB patients with coordination of their care.
  • Acts as point of contact for OB care.
  • Pends orders and updates charts.
  • Sends communication to patients with education.
  • Create and keep Excel spreadsheets up to date with projections.

Job Summary

  • Pends orders and updates charts.
Administrative Duties
  • Sends communication to patients with education.
  • Create and keep Excel spreadsheets up to date with projections

Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures

Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare setting (Required), preferable in Women's Health. MA Certification required
  • Associate's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Business, or Healthcare Admin And 1+ years preferably in Women's Health setting (Preferred)
Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications
  • MA Certification
  • CPR Certification

Salary Range

$19.35 - $29.78/Hourly
