Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a full-time Ramp Agent to support our International and Domestic Team. This role focuses on timely flight operations by managing cargo, baggage handling, and guiding aircraft to gates.

Essential duties include lifting up to 70 lbs, operating motorized equipment, reading weight/balance instructions, and adhering to hazardous material guidelines. Flexibility for shifts, weather conditions, and badge requirements is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have current driver’s license with no violations in past 5 years.
• Must be available for variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must obtain and maintain required Airport/Custom badges.

Responsibilities

• Lift/move up to 70 lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and between aircraft and terminals.
• Frequent bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, stacking, and kneeling in confined spaces.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, loading manifests, and routing tags.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Menzies Aviation is seeking a full-time diligent Ramp Agent to join our International and Domestic Team. The Ramp Agent plays an important role in ensuring that flights run on time by maintaining detailed records of shipped goods, moving baggage and cargo from aircraft, and guiding aircraft to and from their gates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals and air cargo facilities.
• Frequent bending, stretching push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locations.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
