Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles across long‑haul routes while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Deliver and pick up freight according to dispatch schedules, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professional customer interactions
• Complete required documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and electronic logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, equipment issues, and customer needs
• Assist with loading, unloading, or driver‑assist activities as required and approved
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and report maintenance needs promptly
• Follow established procedures for breakdowns, detention, layovers, and other operational events
• Uphold a strong safety culture by completing required training, avoiding preventable incidents, and adhering to all safety standards

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
• A valid driver’s license; CDL required for applicable equipment

• Ability to pass all DOT requirements, including a pre‑employment drug test and medical exam
