Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, Texas nursing license (or eligibility) and at least six months of RN experience, with 36 hours per week and a rotating schedule including a 12X3 night shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• By utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building, supports care delivery.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Provides safe medication administration and IV therapy as needed.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Your Job Requirements

episode of care.
