Job summary

Queue Electric in Roslyn Heights, NY is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team for commercial and multifamily projects. The role requires reviewing drawings, specs, and bid documents to prepare detailed takeoffs and estimates, while coordinating with the estimating and PM teams to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate has NYC electrical estimating experience, familiarity with NEC, and proficiency in Accubid/ConEst/Bluebeam and Excel. MTA and New Jersey estimating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have NYC electrical estimating experience.
• Experience with MTA projects and New Jersey electrical estimating is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Prepare detailed material takeoffs and labor estimates.
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotes.
• Identify drawing conflicts, missing scope, and questions requiring clarification.
• Prepare proposals, exclusions, alternates, and change order pricing.
• Coordinate with our estimating and project management teams.
• Manage multiple bids and meet submission deadlines.
