Job summary

Nen Creative in New York City is seeking a skilled cinematographer to own camera, lighting, and grip across commercials, brand films, and interviews. You’ll work closely with directors and producers to shape the visual approach and on-set execution, then oversee post-production tasks including DaVinci Resolve projects and color grading.

This hands-on role requires strong craft, comfort with agency timelines, occasional travel, and a must-have car.

Qualifications

• Based in NYC and able to work on set in NYC 3–4 days per week.
• Strong technical foundation in camera systems, lighting, and grip.
• Passion for cinematography and deep understanding of visual craft.
• Comfortable with agency timelines, travel occasionally, and occasional weekend work.
• Must have a car and be able to drive to shoots.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with directors and producers to develop the visual approach and execute on set.
• Own camera, lighting, and grip setups across a range of productions.
• Work within real-world budgets, improvise with available gear, and deliver high-impact results.
• Offload footage and build DaVinci Resolve projects with proper settings.
• Color grade projects and export final deliverables from RAW footage when needed.
• Adapt to our workflow and help improve it over time.
• Carry different roles per project as required by production.
