K44 Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to launch and expand its New York City practice, representing employers, insurers, and self-insured entities. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation defense experience.
• Experience handling WC defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Portable book of business preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Workers' Compensation defense caseload for employers, carriers, and self-insured entities.
• Help establish the firm's New York presence in this practice area.
• Develop and expand the Workers' Compensation defense practice.
• Advise clients, negotiate settlements, and manage matters end-to-end.
