Job summary

Job Description

The Packaging/Production Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively filling, packaging and labeling our food‑safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose, and topical applications.


Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)


  • Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging and labeling equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

  • Help monitor and manage processing equipment supplies and inventory.

  • Execute all filling and packaging procedures efficiently in compliance with PharmaCann SOPs and all applicable manufacturing procedures.

  • Perform in‑process and post‑process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records.

  • Support new product lines and process development as needed.

  • Be willing and able to be cross‑trained to work alongside other PharmaCann team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying, weighing and other necessary tasks associated with PharmaCann’s broad medical cannabis product line as needed.

  • Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures.

  • Train future new team members as necessary.


Qualifications


  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum.

  • Age: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over.

  • Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packaging with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality.

  • Competencies/Additional Requirements include:

    • Attention to detail

    • Strong work ethic

    • Willingness to learn and improve each operation

    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time (i.e., operating filling and/or packing equipment)

    • Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays




Working Conditions

Physical requirements


  • Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments

  • Must remove all jewelry including rings, nose studs/rings, watches, leather/cloth wristbands, pins, earrings, necklaces and piercings. In addition, false eyelashes and false fingernails and any other object that may possibly contaminate food are not allowed in the processing/production/manufacturing areas.
