Job summary

Soho House & Co in New York is seeking a Communications Publicist to grow the city’s reputation by building meaningful relationships with journalists, editors, creators and tastemakers who shape its cultural conversation.

You will work with the Global Communications team to turn these relationships into compelling stories and coverage across print, digital, broadcast and social for Soho House’s New York Houses, Soho Home, Soho Works and venues like Cecconi’s.

Qualifications

• Established New York media contacts with credibility and influence.
• Experience securing coverage across print, digital, and broadcast.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with creators, editors and tastemakers.
• Strong writing skills and confident voice aligned to Soho House tone.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day media, creator and influencer relations for Soho House’s New York portfolio.
• Build and maintain a high-quality network of New York journalists, editors, creators and tastemakers.
• Develop and implement targeted communications activity to generate coverage across channels.
• Pitch creatively to uncover the right story at the right moment.
• Invite NY-based media and cultural voices to Soho House experiences and events.
• Support major launches, events, partnerships and cultural moments with local comms.
