Job summary

Assist Ambulance in Brooklyn/ Bronx is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians to join full-time or part-time staffs. You will perform BLS/ALS EMS duties according to NY DOH protocols and be based at our NYC base locations.

Requirements include NY EMT-B, a NY D Class license, physical fitness, and the ability to pass standard assessments. Competitive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Active NY State EMT-B card required; NREMT alone not accepted.
• Drivers: 20+ with 1 year NYC driving experience.
• Must hold NY D Class license with ≤3 major violations in 3 years.
• Physically fit to lift 125 lbs and pass lifting assessment.
• Must obtain 19A clearance and negative PPD test.
• Must pass a 10 panel drug screen.
• Commit to at least two 8-hour shifts per week; steady scheduling.
• Criminal history reviewed under NYC Fair Chance Act.
• Attend three days of in-person pre-hire assessments.
