Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of lab-based research experience.
• Experience handling/working with small animals in research.

Responsibilities

• Handles and administers diets, antigens, and immune modifiers to small animals; may work with young swine with supervision.
• Performs molecular and immune function assays; benchwork and data analysis using culture- and molecular-based methods.
• Maintain biosafety, chemical inventory, lab items, and safety/compliance duties to support BSL-2 status.
• Assist with writing SOPs for laboratory methods and regulatory reports.
• Assist with supervision and training of other laboratory personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
