Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Nutrition Technician to work with Nutrition Therapists to improve patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting. The role involves direct patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include performing nutrition care under supervision and overseeing enteral tube feeding operations, including inventory, orders, delivery, retrieval, and billing. Eligible for mentoring and educational support opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Communication, organizational, customer service, problem solving and math skills required.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel, email, and intranet/internet navigation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition care services for patients under supervision of Nutrition Therapist.
• Manage enteral tube feeding operations including inventory, order processing, delivery, retrieval and patient billing.
