Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Nutrition Technician to help assess, develop, and implement nutrition interventions for patients. You will monitor progress, provide nutrition education, and participate in quality improvement to ensure safe and effective care.

The role offers a schedule of 32 hours per week (80% FTE) with shifts Monday–Friday and occasional weekend rotations, starting between 7:00–8:00am and four 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• 2 years of nutrition-related work experience required.
• NDTR certification required or RD with hire/within 6 months
• State licensure required within 3 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing nutrition interventions for individuals or groups.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to ensure safe and effective nutrition care.
