Morrison Healthcare in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Nutrition Support Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for trauma (surgical) patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. The role requires an RDN with TN licensure and CDR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: assess patients and create individualized nutrition care plans for trauma/surgical patients
• Education: guide patients, families, staff on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices
• Evidence-Based Practice: apply current research to care, aligned with policy and protocols
• Quality & Performance Improvement: participate in QAPI initiatives to improve patient care
• Collaboration: partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction
• Mentorship: train dietetic interns and junior staff where applicable

• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
