Job summary

School District 27J in Brighton, CO is seeking a food service helper to assist in preparing meals and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment. You will follow standardized recipes, operate institutional equipment, and ensure servings meet federal, state, and local nutrition guidelines.

This role is 2–6 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday, with a 154-day, 9-month schedule. Starting pay is $18.58 per hour, with no benefits.

Qualifications

SALARY: Classified, Grade H, starting at $18.58 per hour, depending on recent relevant experience. 2-6 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday. 154 day / 9 month work schedule. Position is not eligible for benefits.

• Portion food correctly to meet federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Wash trays, utensils, dishes, pans, etc. used in food preparation or service.
• Mop, sweep, and clean kitchen work area, equipment, and other facilities as required.
