The job of Warehouse Foreman is to maintain required inventory levels; ensure specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verify stock and identify losses; maintain an organized warehouse layout; and direct assigned workers to complete assignments safely, properly and timely.
Learning Development – Level C: Sufficient to read and write technical instruction, understand standardized methods, operate specialized equipment, and perform standard mathematical applications. Includes some technical or vocational training beyond high school, often resulting in a certification.
Problem Solving – Level 1: Work situations are routine and recurring, requiring concentration, limited discretion, and planning.
Physical Skill – Level A: Basic level of learned physical skill for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects.
Physical Effort – Level 2: Job requires light physical effort such as frequent standing, walking, lifting, guiding, and carrying of light‑weight materials.
Human Relations Skill – Level B: Patience in communication, well‑developed verbal skills, and ability to establish harmonious relationships.
Scope of Contacts – Level 1: Contacts mainly with peers and immediate supervisor; occasional external contact.
Performance Environment – Level A: Changes and disruptions infrequent.
Physical Working Conditions – Level 4: Extensive exposure to hazardous conditions and dangerous situations; high likelihood of serious injury or illness without precautions.
