Develop, communicate and uphold organizational procedures and policies, ensuring staff are properly trained and compliant with established standards. Oversees and delivers comprehensive training for all new hires in the Nutrition Services Department, ensuring proficiency in diet standards, food safety protocols, patient-focused service and department workflows which include: Call Center, Trayline, Tray Delivery, Dish Room and Nourishments. Will be trained and prepared to assist as department lead as needed, providing oversight and support to ensure smooth daily operations. Answering patient, team member, nursing and visitor inquiries; reallocating team members during staffing shortages; professionally and appropriately addressing team members and handling high volume food service environment; consistently communicating clearly and collaborating closely with staff, peers and leadership to promote transparency, teamwork and operational efficiency; proactively sharing information, supporting problem‑solving and contributing to a culture of trust, respect and continuous improvement; must be able to complete supplementary duties as directed by management, including tasks not explicitly listed.
High School Diploma or equivalent 6 months of relevant experience food service, preferably in health care setting or related field CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP – ANSI National Accreditation Board ANSI National Accreditation Board 90 Days Preferred Associate's degree Hospitality or Nutrition 6 months of relevant experience Leadership.
