Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Services Lead to coordinate activities and supervise staff in our Nutrition Services department. You will perform essential clerical duties and help prepare and serve food for clients, staff and visitors in a 10-hour shift that includes holidays.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, accurate typing, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. Our large, quiet labor/birthing rooms are private and located away from other patient care areas. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.

Specialties of our active staff of doctors include Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Hematology, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Pathology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, Radiology and Women’s Health.

For the convenience of our patients, we also host visiting physicians at our clinics in the areas of:

About the role

$1,200 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus
Under the supervision of the Nutrition Services Director, the Nutrition Services Lead coordinates activities and directs and supervises department workers preparing and serving food for clients, staff and visitors. Performs essential clerical duties associated with department functions.

Qualifications
  • Person with or in the process of obtaining a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to learn and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Accurate typing ability
  • Person must be able to respond in a timely manner to disaster drill activities as per hospital protocol.
  • Person must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

This position is 10-hour shifts and does include holidays.

Salary commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
