ISD 622 in Minnesota is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant (4 hours per day) at Tartan High School for the academic year. The role supports meal preparation and serving, adheres to Nutrition Services policies, and may include cashier duties.

Responsibilities include recording temperatures, tracking food usage, assisting the Kitchen Manager, cooking, cleaning, restocking, and participating in sanitation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to work with computers or willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must attain certification with School Nutrition Association within one year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing and serving meals.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Enter temperatures on temperature sheets and track food usage on the pick list.
• Provide assistance to the Kitchen Manager as requested, including cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Clean dishes, spills and maintain orderly work areas.
• Take inventory and perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Nutrition Services Assistant ( 4 hours per day)

Location: Tartan High School

Schedule: 9 months, 5 days per week.

Salary and Benefits: Per Nutrition Services labor agreement _ district website at www.isd622.org

Academic year position responsible for providing support in all aspects of preparing and serving school meals, meeting and maintaining Nutrition Services policies, including sanitation and safety standards. Function as a cashier as assigned. Enter temperatures on temperature sheets, enter food used on the pick list, and provide assistance to the Kitchen Manager as requested. Provide assistance in cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning spills as needed, taking inventory or any other duty as assigned
