Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to assist in the delivery of nutrition services. This role may prepare and/or serve food items, assemble trays, wash dishes, perform cleaning tasks, and transport soiled linen to laundry as part of daily patient meal services.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards, assisting with tray assembly, beverages, and nourishments, and ensuring patient safety while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate required.
• Experience in food service and with food service equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assures that sanitation and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware, condiments, and tray ticket.
• Performs various food preparation tasks and assists in apportioning servings.
• Delivers beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Performs other cleaning tasks according to established schedules.
• Delivers nourishments identified with patient labels and maintains tray tickets.
