Job summary

Valley Health in Luray, VA is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support patients and staff by cleaning and serving meals, and assisting the Nutrition Services team.

Direct patient interaction is required, and you may fill in for cook as needed while maintaining a friendly, courteous demeanor with all ages.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and completion of Serve Safe; candidates must be 16 or older and able to work as part of a cooperative hospital team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must complete and pass Serve Safe exam.
• Must work with all ages of hospital patients.

Department NUTRITION SERVICES - 458052 Worker Sub Type Regular Work Shift Pay Range $17.00 - $20.40

Job Description Nutrition Services Aide provides support to patients and staff by cleaning, serving patients, employees, and hospital staff. Provides support for the department; may be required to prepare food to fill in for cook as required. Direct patient interaction is required. This position requires ability to work with others of all ages in a friendly and courteous manner as well as with all levels of staff; expected to remain on-task and work efficiently throughout the shift.

Education
