Encompass Health in Beverly, MA is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to assist in preparing therapeutic and modified diets, assemble patient trays, and support meal service for staff and visitors.

You will follow recipes, manage temperatures, and ensure food safety while delivering timely meals. The role offers benefits and opportunities for education and growth within a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Possession of a food handler's permit if mandated by regulations.
• Training in therapeutic diet food preparation preferred.
• Recent institutional cooking and special function cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or nights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper temperatures for hot and cold foods.
• Interpret written recipes and follow orders and instructions.
• Break down carts and remove scraps from patient trays.
• Assemble, deliver, and manage late patient trays and requests.
• Portion, weigh, and garnish food according to menus and diet instructions.
• Assemble patient trays to meet deadlines.
• Assist patients in completing menus.
• Clean and sanitize all assigned areas.
• Organize, plan, and manage time effectively to complete assignments.
