Job summary

Unicity USA Inc. seeks a Scientist, Scientific Affairs to act as the internal expert on health and nutrition, guiding technical claims and coordinating research programs, including the design and execution of fit-for-purpose clinical studies.

You’ll lead internal and external studies, validate safety and regulatory status (GRAS, NDI), develop substantiation for FTC/FDA standards, translate science into marketing content, and partner with R&D, Regulatory, and Legal to support markets worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s of Science (M.S.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in a technical field as listed.
• 3+ years of clinical research experience for MS; 1+ year for Ph.D.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the scientific SME for internal teams on functional benefits, ingredients, formulations, and claims.
• Lead internal and external studies including protocols, IRB submissions, and data analysis.
• Coordinate external testing with KOLs and CROs and build substantiation procedures.
• Translate science into compliant content for marketing and training.
