Job summary

The Gates Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to support the Nutrition Program Strategy Team within Global Growth & Opportunity. You will manage a portfolio of investments, coordinate CRM administration, and deliver dashboards and reports to leadership.

In this six-month assignment, you will collaborate with program officers and grants and contract services, onboard quickly, and document processes to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in business administration or program management.
• Experience in project management, portfolio management, financial reporting, nonprofit work, or related industry.
• Understanding of investment lifecycle, rules, policies and practices.
• Experience building portfolio-level reports or dashboards.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, investment systems, or similar tools, with ability to learn new internal systems quickly.
• Comfort using AI tools to support drafting, synthesis, and reporting, and openness to new AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter authority on investment tools, systems, and templates, and provide training to program-team members and partners.
• Support development, management, and maintenance of a portfolio of investments.
• Perform initial investment due diligence, gather portfolio data, identify trends, and manage timelines.
• Conduct portfolio analysis, identify risks, and deliver detailed leadership readouts.
• Build and maintain consolidated portfolio dashboards and readouts for nutrition portfolio health.
