Job summary

Jersey College in the United States is seeking a Nutrition Instructor - Registered Dietitian to contribute to our Nursing Program and advance student learning. The role focuses on delivering didactic and clinical instruction on a schedule that includes Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30am to 11:00am.

The successful candidate will prepare progress and grade reports, maintain attendance, assess student competence, and participate in faculty activities while staying current with professional

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school
  • Master degree is preferred
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
  • Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
  • Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
  • Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
  • Attending faculty meetings
  • Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
  • Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
