Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians in Siletz, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Food Distribution & Nutritionist Program Coordinator to lead the USDA Food Distribution program for Siletz and nearby communities. You will supervise a small team, manage inventories, and coordinate nutrition education efforts with health representatives.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nutrition or related field and at least two years in related programs. Some travel and weekend hours may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Social Services, or related field.
• Two years of experience in food service, warehousing, or public assistance programs or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, conduct and evaluate a food distribution program.
• Supervise the Food Distribution team and volunteers.
• Coordinate nutrition education provided by community health representatives and advocates.
• Prepare monthly inventory and program reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal USDA rules and related programs.
