Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia seeks an Educational Program Associate III to provide nutrition, health, and food safety education to Missourians. You will co-teach with Regional Extension specialists, engage diverse communities, and assist with SNAP applications while traveling across Cooper, Howard, and Boone counties.

The role requires an Associate degree (or equivalent) with at least 6 months of related experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to work flexible hours,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with at least 6 months of experience.
• Willingness to travel; evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational programs to youth and adults.
• Utilize approved curricula.
• Select appropriate activities for specific audience from the approved curriculum.
• Collaborate with Regional Extension specialists and community agencies to develop educational opportunities and implement policy, systems and environmental (PSE) initiatives.
• Submit reporting and evaluation in a timely fashion.
• Assist individuals in completing SNAP applications.
• Travel and flexible hours are required to fulfill duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
