WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Patient Nutrition Assistant to provide direct patient meal service, obtain selections, and deliver meals with careful attention to safety and sanitation in the nutrition centers.
The role requires knowledge of special diets and allergies, excellent customer service, and ability to use EPIC and VST. You will collaborate with Clinical Dietitians and support the tray line, with weekend/holliday rotation as needed.
This position provides direct patient meal service, either obtaining meal selections in person or via the hospitality center ordering system, delivering meals and retrieving meal trays. Must be knowledgeable in special diets and allergies. Also maintain cleanliness of nutrition centers in patient care areas. Excellent customer service skills and concern for all aspects of patient safety crucial.
