Intermountain Medical Center, part of Intermountain Healthcare, is seeking staff for an Afternoon/Evening, part-time role in Culinary Services. You will deliver meals to patients, assist in food preparation, and maintain a clean, safe service area while providing excellent patient care.

The position emphasizes customer service and teamwork within a fast-paced setting. Requires a Food Handler Permit/ServSafe where required and willingness to handle cash transactions.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (required only in the states of Utah and Idaho).
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (e.g., assembling salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit).
• Follows standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (e.g. dining experience, meal delivery, maintaining stock).
• Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, and equipment maintenance.
• Performs accurate cash/credit transactions according to system standards and resolves basic customer service issues.

Job Description:Part-time Afternoon / Evening ShiftPerforms a variety of food and guest service duties under general supervision.
