Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Nutrition Assistant in Washington state to support patient meal service and dietary needs. You will prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food prep, and ensure food safety standards are followed in daily operations.

On-site role focusing on customer service, accuracy, and cleanliness. One year of Food Service or Customer Service experience and a WA Food Handler Permit are preferred to hire.

Qualifications

• One year of Food Service or Customer Service experience.
• Food Handler Permit: WA, within 30 Days.
• High School Graduate General Studies or GED upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver patient meal trays according to dietary needs.
• Maintain food safety and proper food temperatures during handling and storage.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as directed.
• Respond to patient questions about dietary needs and allergies.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper labeling of food items; assist with dishwashing and kitchen duties.
• Support inventory, catering, and general cleaning of work areas.
• Provide cashiering or retail service if assigned.
