Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO is hiring a Nutrition Assistant to deliver patient meals and support the Food and Nutrition Services team.

You will follow guidelines with high accuracy in delivery, set up, and monitoring of meal service, while delivering warm customer service to patients, families, and hospital staff.

Strong reading/writing skills and a friendly, professional appearance are valued; background in food service is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read and write well; strong customer service and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Equipment used: Computer and/or tablet, basic food service equipment
